Rosamond recently sang the alto solos in Handel’s Messiah with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, under the baton of Jeanette Sorrell, and returned to sing with Thomas Søndergård for Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Rosamond is an experienced song recitalist and has a particular passion for the genre. She performed Schumann’s Liederkreis Op.39 in the Bösendorfer Salon in the Musikverein, and a program of songs with texts exclusively by women poets in the Gesellschaft für Musiktheater in Vienna. In January 2024, she sang Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder and Schumann’s Op.90 in the Schumannhaus in Leipzig. She performed songs by Roxanna Panufnik in conversation with the composer at the Ryedale Festival 2019. While studying for her Bachelor’s in London, she sang Ravel’s Trois chansons de Stéphane Mallarmé with orchestra in the Duke’s Hall, and Rachmaninov songs in the Rachmaninov Festival at Pushkin House. She has sung in masterclasses with Helmut Deutsch, Christoph Pregardien (London Song Festival) and Justus Zeyen. Rosamond was a semi-finalist in the Elizabeth Connell Competition 2024, awarded Second Prize in the Hurn Court Singing Competition 2023 and was Highly Commended in the National Mozart Competition 2018.

Rosamond studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Mary Nelson and Matthew Fletcher, before going on to the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst, Vienna, where she was taught by Regine Köbler, Christoph Meier and Florian Boesch. In Leipzig she now studies with mezzo-soprano Carola Guber.

Rosamond grew up in Salisbury, where she was a chorister in the famously high-spired cathedral from 2005 to 2009. She was also a keen French horn player, gaining her DipABRSM on the instrument in her final year of school.
